Szabó & Partners is one of the most highly regarded internationally active M&A law firms in Hungary, with a special emphasis on telecommunications. The law firm has had international client relationships for many years, including with numerous blue-chip clients in Germany.

For more than a decade now, Gleiss Lutz has had a particular emphasis on central and eastern Europe. Since the opening of the markets there, it has advised countless German clients on investments and joint ventures in central and eastern Europe, including Hungary. In the course of this development, Gleiss Lutz opened offices in Prague and Warsaw in the 1990s that today are successfully established in their respective markets, each having between 15 and 20 lawyers.
